Nov. 7 2025: we press-released that we have succeeded the demonstration of using heterogeneous supercomputing systems (AOBA, SQUID, and FLOW) in Tohoku, Nagoya and Osaka for emergent response to disaster.
Our research dibision is in charge of sustainable and stable operation of supercomputing systems for academic and industrial research in Japan. For this project, Dr. Keichi Takahashi, Associate Professor of our research division and guest associate professor of Cyberscience Center Tohoku University), contributed to acceleration of the simulation code used for this demonstration. This press-release is based on achievements from both operational and research perspectives.
