The third generation Xeon Scalable Processor (Ice Lake SP) to be deployed on SQUID was announced on Apr.6 2021. SQUID is the new supercomputing system which faculty staff in this research division works on procurement.
Each of 1520 CPU nodes and 42 GPU nodes on SQUID has two Intel Xeon Platinum 8368 (38C, 2.40 GHz).
