Which OS do you use? Windows? Mac OS X? Linux? In Shimojo lab, more and more students have become to use Mac OS X (commonly said “Maccer”). I then checked which OS the students use in Shimojo lab. The graph below is the utilization rate of OS.
Although I have thought that there are many Maccer in Shimojo lab, I haven’t expected that over half of students are Maccer. Probably Windows is mainly used in other lab in Graduate School of Information Science and Technology in Osaka University, so this is one of feature of Shimojo lab.
